Class Skills
The True Blade’s class skills (and key modifier) are Balance (Dex), Climb (Dex), Craft (Int), Handle Animal (Cha), Jump (Str), Ride (Dex), Swim (Str), Tumble (Dex)
Skill Points at Each Level: 2+Int Modifier
Class Features
All of the following are class features of the
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: A True Blade looses all proficiencies except sword and can use any sword and can only use light armor.
Adept: At 1st level a True Blade has become so use to fighting with swords he can occasionally gain free attacks. Every time a True Blade attempts and attack for each roll there is a 20% chance that he may make a extra attack with that roll. For example when attacking with a base attack of +11/+6/+1 the true blade got to adept with the +6 so he makes an immediate free attack at +6 before his +1 roll. This effect can work on every attack roll made. Once per week though the True Blade can force this effect on an attack, but can no longer get the effect for one whole day.
Discipline: A True Blade considers his levels to count with a fighter type class for purposes of his of class abilities so if a 11th level fighter starts in this class he gains the bonus feet as if the he had become an 12th level fighter and so on.
High Critical: At 2nd level a True Blade becomes more deadly with a sword that his threat range with them increases. This increase is like taking an improved critical feat with each sword, if a True Blade already has the feat and is using the chosen weapon the effects stack. i.e. a long sword with the feat has a threat range of 15-20. The damage multiplier also increases by one, such as the long sword’s multiplier becomes a x3 instead of the x2
Wrath: At 3rd level a True Blade has 1/5 of his total hit points left increases his critical power. His threat range increases by 2 (stacks with affects of improved and high critical), his damage multiplier increases by 1 more, and he gains a +5 to confirm a critical hit. (The +5 stacks with any other benefit that may give him this but not magical.)
Vantage: A 3rd level True Blade has become so skilled that he can be prepared for combat sooner and fight quicker. So the True Blade gains a +4 to initiative and when attacked by an adjacent foe that he is aware of can make a free attack of opportunity on them when the attack him. The free attack only happens on percent chance of 25%
Astra: At 5th level a True Blade has become so versatile with swords he can every so often attack more. When starting an attack against an adjacent unit there is a 10% chance that the True Blade doubles all of his attacks for the round. Such as a base attack of +16/+11/+6/+1 when starting to roll he performs this skill and then gets the attacks of +16/+16/+11/+11/+6/+6/+1/+1 in that order. This skill does not work with adept so no further attacks from adept. Furthermore once a month the True Blade can force this ability to work but can no longer get the benefit of it for one week.
